Writing as an introduction
This is a minute writing.
I am a transfer student from Michigan Technological university majoring in electrical engineering. I love to play volleyball for fun. I like making friends a lot. I live in an amazing apartment called Lantern Village. Wow, this apartment is too cool. I love "The Simpsons". Men, this is my favorite show ever. Homer Simpson is one hell of a character. This show is very educational although it makes you break your rib cage. I am definitely forgetting about one thing. I love to eat. But I am still in shape(:laughs)
Ms Jennifer Hannah was my ENGL1303 instructor. She was the most wonderful teacher that I have had so far in UH. In my class, participation was of upmost important. It is not all about agreeing to a point. The main concern was for you opinions and ideas to be heard (contribution). The class helped so much because I was not much of a writer. The main thing was to let the idea flow. Do not think about the subject or question. I would not say my writing was good, bad or ugly. But I can tell you that I definitely improve better than before.
Writing for me was not an interesting thing . But after having Ms Hannah as an instructor, I love the idea of writing. I would have taken her this semester but my schedule did not work well because I have working hours. The only problem I have concerning writing is distractions. I easily get distracted that I would not understand the subject or write a paper at the last second in a hast. Sometimes, I would like to have details concerning the subject and what is expected of the paper. I am the kind of person who follows instruction details by details. I believe that I am kinda slow in writing. I am the kind of girl who likes mathematical problems or calculations.
After last semester, I had my rested holiday. My final exam ended on December 9,2004. On the 11th, I left for the holiday. I came to the United States with F1 visa which lasted for 2yrs. I had to be home to get my visa renewed. I used the opportunity to visit my family. As usual, my home country is Nigeria
The last time I saw my family was on January 4, 2003. What do you expect for our reaction after 2yrs. I was all happy and amazed at the surprises I had. I learnt about so many things that I missed. I definitely enjoyed my holiday with my family by my side always. What else can I say rather that I am blessed with the most wonderful family.
